Zusammenfassung

The Peer Company is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to assist individuals in recovery within the OHSU Medical Unit. You will provide compassionate, nonjudgmental peer support and help create person-directed recovery plans, coordinating with social workers and RN case managers to support each participant’s journey.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid Oregon driver’s license, and completion of infection control training. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted.
• Pre-hire drug screening required.
• Motor Vehicle Records check required.
• Valid Oregon driver's license and car insurance.

Aufgaben

• Provides 1:1 peer support to diverse individuals in accordance with policies.
• Collaborates with social workers and INTERDISC teams on IMPACT.
• Creates Person Directed Plans to support recovery journeys.
• Attends meetings to communicate program objectives and needs.
• Assists participants in crisis and connects to community resources.
