Job summary

Miami Technical Services in Dayton, Ohio, seeks a Material Handler to work in a warehouse and records storage environment for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). You will sort, retrieve, and file records and support daily operations.

This is a full-time role with a 6:30am-3:00pm schedule, Monday through Friday. Pay is $19.05 per hour plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare funds to apply to benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Locate containers or folders on shelving using pull list or reports; access shelving up to 15 ft.
• Place containers on streamliners; ensure proper orientation and visible identifiers.
• Move records to disposal review area and palletize disposable records.
• Retrieve and sign-out batches; record completion times in logbooks.
• Prepare documents for scanning; verify image quality and rescan as needed.
• Perform basic data entry in spreadsheets and assist with box list creation.
