Job summary

Miami Technical Services seeks a Material Handler for a NARA contract in Dayton, OH. You will work in a warehouse environment sorting, retrieving, and filing records, supporting chain-of-custody and scanning preparation.

This full-time role runs 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday. The pay rate is $19.05 per hour with an additional $5.09 per hour for Health & Welfare funds to offset benefit costs. Miami Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to climb ladders to reach shelving up to 15 feet high.
• May be required to successfully complete a drug screen.
• Have the ability to pass a background check and receive a government security clearance.
• U.S. citizens only; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Locate containers or folders on shelving using pull lists or reports.
• Remove containers from shelving, verify pull lists, and report discrepancies.
• Place containers on streamliners with identifying numbers visible.
• Move records to the Disposal Review Area.
• Palletize containers and secure for disposal or relocation.
• Retrieve batched requests and log start times.
• Retrieve documents for scanning and prepare for digital imaging.
• Use handheld device for basic data entry and record daily totals.
