Job summary

Idaho Department of Insurance in Boise is seeking a full-time Technical Records Specialist 2 to review, analyze, and assess records for compliance with Idaho law under the Examiner Financial Analyst Supervisor.

This role involves researching data, making recommendations for approval or denial, and maintaining electronic databases while providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors.
• Interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies.
• Reviewing documents or actions for compliance with laws, regulations, and/or rules; explaining how they apply.
• Analyzing information and researching sources to resolve problems or issues.
• Dealing with individuals from varying backgrounds in stressful situations.
• Entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system.
• Composing and proofreading business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain statements and records, process applications, review financial statements, and make recommendations.
• Research, analyze, and solve problems through interpretation of state laws and regulations.
• Maintain accuracy of information on electronic databases.
• Prepare reports, trackers, spreadsheets, and special projects.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
