Job summary

The Idaho Department of Lands in Boise seeks a full-time Technical Records Specialist 2 to support Endowment Leasing programs, manage lease instruments, and maintain accurate records across electronic systems. • Experience monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies across programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with diverse information sources.

• Proficiency entering and retrieving data in computerized record systems.
• Ability to compose and proofread business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support for Endowment Leasing programs, including preparing and processing lease instruments.
• Maintain accurate records across multiple electronic systems and perform quality-control reviews.
• Coordinate lease transactions from initiation through completion, including documentation, approvals, billing, and reporting.
• Independently organize, prioritize, and track multiple assignments to meet deadlines.
• Research and resolve complex issues while providing professional customer service to staff, lessees, and the public.
• Interpret and apply program policies and provide guidance and training to staff to improve processes.
