Carvana in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Line Lead to supervise a team of hourly associates in the Inspection Center, driving production targets and quality. This frontline role emphasizes coaching, safety, and lean principles to improve performance.

You’ll manage car movement, meet daily and monthly goals, and mentor staff to sustain high-volume, high-quality output while aligning with Carvana’s values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas pertaining to Carvana’s reconditioning process.
• Demonstrated understanding of our current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; standing for extended periods; safety equipment may be required.

Responsabilités

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team; identify strengths and areas of opportunity.
• Provide coaching, development and performance feedback to the team.
• Create a work environment that promotes positive communication and adherence to Carvana’s values.
• Proactively communicate expectations and goals to team members.
• Prevent and resolve conflict among team members.
• Monitor adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Review mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory.
• Lead a team and decide repairs or rejections based on cost and quality.
• Train team using Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
