Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead to supervise and develop a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center. You will oversee daily operations, ensure production targets are met, and guide quality control during vehicle inspections.

The role requires strong leadership, a lean-principles mindset, and the ability to manage safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position located at our Charlotte-area facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated understanding of Carvana's reconditioning processes and lean principles.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Requires standing for extended periods and ability to work in variable conditions.
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely and meet production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide coaching, development, and performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure adherence to safety, processes, and performance standards.
• Lead the team in applying quality control standards to repairs and inspections.
