Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead, Build at the Inspection Center to supervise a team of hourly associates and drive production targets in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and team development, with coaching and performance management responsibilities. This position is not visa eligible and requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds; stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends; variable schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into/out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily/weekly/monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day team activities; identify strengths/weaknesses; plan improvements.
• Coach, develop and manage performance; provide feedback.
• Create a positive, communicative team environment aligned with Carvana values.
• Communicate expectations and goals clearly to team members.
• Lead repairs/rejections decisions with cost/quality focus; minimize rework.
• Train team on Quality Control standards to reduce delays.
