Job summary

Columbia Residential seeks a Community Recertification Specialist in Atlanta to oversee tenant recertifications and initial certifications across multiple properties, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

You will review and approve certifications, monitor files, generate reports, and support onsite teams with training and best practices to prevent non-compliance. Travel to properties may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; 2+ years in affordable housing.
• HCCP and similar Tax Credit certifications preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; strong math aptitude.
• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi required.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve all Initial Certifications and Recertifications/Renewals.
• Conduct random reviews of resident files for order and completeness.
• Provide guidance on compliance issues to Community Managers.
• Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting prepared by staff.
• Maintain compliance records in OneSite and state agency systems.
