Job summary

Rossmoor Post Acute in Walnut Creek, CA is hiring a friendly receptionist on a part-time basis. The role covers approximately 28 hours per week with a pay rate of $20.00-$22.00 per hour and weekend coverage required (Saturday).

Schedule typically Tue-Sat with multiple 2:00 PM-6:00 PM blocks and one weekend shift. The ideal candidate greets residents, families, visitors, and staff, answers phones, assists with check-in, and maintains a welcoming reception area.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist/front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer and office skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Flexible schedule based on facility needs.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Assist visitors with check-in and facility procedures
• Respond to general inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate department
• Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and other communications
• Assist with basic administrative and clerical duties
• Maintain accurate records and handle information appropriately
• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals
• Follow facility policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. Position Details

Position: Receptionist

Status: Part-Time

Schedule: 5 days per week, Tuesday-Saturday

Hours: Approximately 28 hours per week

Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Location: Rossmoor Post Acute

Weekend Coverage: Saturday is required

We have some flexibility with the schedule; however, weekend coverage is a MUST.

Possible Schedule

• Tuesday: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM-5:30 PM
