Receptionist/Loan Administrative Assistant

Job Overview

This role involves greeting visitors, managing office supplies, assisting customers with loan inquiries, processing and closing loans, and supporting credit administrators.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet and direct visitors to appropriate bank staff.
  2. Order and maintain office supplies.
  3. Sort and distribute mail.
  4. Request updated insurance on collateral and file proof in loan files.
  5. File, move, and box files as needed.
  6. Assist customers with loan questions (balances, payments, advances).
  7. Transport documents between staff and vendors.
  8. Perform document imaging.
  9. Assist lenders and originators with loan processing and closing.
  10. Monitor loan files for completeness.
  11. Support other credit administrators.
Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of college/business school or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Customer service experience.
  • Banking experience is a plus.
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize work.
  • Proficient with office equipment and Microsoft Office.
