Arts and Culture Consultant and Strategist

Position Overview

We’re not saying you’re the glue that holds everything together... but yes, you are the glue. FRANK is looking for a sharp, organized, and digitally fluent Business Administrative Assistant who thrives on color-coded calendars, inbox zero fantasies, and the satisfaction of making things run smoothly. This role is vital to our internal operations—think scheduling, systems, invoices, and keeping everything on track.

We’re a small but mighty consultancy working with artists, producers, and creative organizations making a difference. Your job is to support them more efficiently, with less chaos. If you’re proactive and detail-oriented, we want to hear from you.

This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings or events in Philadelphia. You must have your own computer, reliable internet, and a good sense of humor. We value clear communication, great writing, memes as problem-solving tools, and a “done is better than perfect” attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the calendar: scheduling meetings, project check-ins, and client calls across time zones
  • Maintain the inbox: create saved replies, triage messages, and flag important items
  • Handle billing and payments via online platforms
  • Track project milestones on Monday.com, sending reminders and nudges as needed
  • Draft contracts, organize documents, and maintain SOPs

You Are:

  • A systems thinker who anticipates problems
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, familiar with Notion, and curious about Dubsado, Airtable, and Clockify
  • A good writer with a conversational tone
  • Independent and proactive in taking on new tasks

You Might Have:

  • Experience in arts administration, business development, or nonprofit management
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Quick to send calendar invites
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, ChatGPT, and Monday.com
  • Part-time contract role (10–20 hours/week)
  • Flexible schedule, with availability during business hours preferred
  • Pay range: Negotiable based on experience, with room to grow
  • Location: Remote, with occasional meetings in Philadelphia
