Job Opportunity: Receptionist

Join a joint venture with Select Medical & Banner Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.

Shift: Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour, depending on years of experience

Previous receptionist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Responsible for screening all incoming visitors, directing them appropriately, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining facility security. Assists visitors with their requests.

Specific Duties

1. Screen visitors, ensure they sign in, and wear visitor passes supplied by the receptionist.
2. Provide daily coverage for the admissions coordinator during breaks and other times as needed. Connect or transfer calls and perform overhead paging.
3. Notify the admissions coordinator when a visitor requests a tour.
4. Obtain wheelchairs for patients as needed.
5. Report any unusual behavior in the lobby or parking area to facilities.
6. Notify nursing when gifts for patients arrive for timely delivery.
7. Handle outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail.
8. Log all incoming job applications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Experience

• Previous receptionist experience preferred.
