The role involves greeting customers, handling calls, processing payments, and supporting accounting tasks while contributing to a smooth daily operation. Training is provided for those new to the field.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus.
• Dealership experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone in a professional, courteous manner
• Answer incoming calls, route callers to the appropriate department promptly
• Operate the switchboard and handle payments accurately (cash, check, credit card)
• Perform routine accounting tasks related to accounts receivable/payable
• Support managers and staff with clerical duties as needed

The Russ Darrow Group is actively seeking a friendly, dependable Receptionist/Cashier to be the welcoming first point of contact for our dealership. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, and supporting daily office operations in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and is comfortable handling both customer interactions and basic accounting tasks. Dealership experience and strong Excel skills are a plus.Responsibilities• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone in a professional, courteous manner• Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call, and route callers to the appropriate department promptly• Operate the switchboard telephone system efficiently and accurately• Receive cash, check, and credit card payments; issue receipts and make change accurately• Perform routine accounting tasks related to accounts receivable and accounts payable• Assist managers and office staff with clerical and administrative duties as needed• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members• Learn dealership departments, procedures, and internal processes to assist customers efficientlyThis role is ideal for someone who takes pride in being organized, dependable, and customer-focused while contributing to a positive team environment.Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, some Saturdays as needed.Wage: $16-$18 per hourAbout UsThe Darrow Difference is the foundation of our success – and we want you to be a part of it!Are you outgoing, enjoy meeting new people, and have a passion for the latest technology?
