Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Office Services Clerk in San Jose, CA. You will be the first point of contact, handling a high volume of calls, greeting visitors, and keeping the office running smoothly by managing supplies, mail, and break rooms.

You will work with a small team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, a positive attitude, and professional presentation are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a corporate office setting.
• Customer service, administrative, or front desk experience is desirable.
• An associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent phone etiquette and people skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, macOS and iOS devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay at the front desk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Answer and screen company phone calls and transfer to the right person.
• Greet visitors and follow check-in procedures.
• Keep the reception area clean and professional.
• Stock office supplies and break rooms; monitor and reorder as needed.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing shipments.
• Collaborate with internal service teams on local projects.
