Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in various store areas to support operations.
• Ability to communicate directions clearly and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members; implement strategies to improve customer service and drive sales.
• Maintain store appearance, product presentation and adherence to company standards.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Manage disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
• Oversee P&L, achieve sales targets and control shrinkage.
• Ensure safety, training completion and adherence to Meijer policies.
