Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Cashier experience preferred but not required
• Ability to count money and give accurate change
• Professional behavior handling diverse customers

• Excellent people skills

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and thank customers in a positive manner
• Train and develop all team members in the department
• Present merchandise as directed by management
• Verify pricing and signing on fixtures
• Ensure safe floor plans and moves
• Present new freight within 24 hours of receipt
• Condense old merchandise to make room for new items
• Communicate hot items and fashionable merchandise to store/DM
• Inform management about selling and non-selling merchandise
• Complete price changes as directed by SCC
• Ensure accurate inventory counts
• Perform other tasks in all store areas as needed
• Deter theft by reporting dishonest behavior
