Job summary

You will train staff, manage floor moves, coordinate with receiving and store leadership, and ensure accurate signing, pricing, and stock counts, supporting overall store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience: Cashier experience preferred but not required.
• Job Related Skills: Math, ability to count money and give accurate change.
• Ability to handle different customer’s personalities in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and thank every customer in a positive, approachable manner.
• Train and develop all team members in the department.
• Ensure merchandise presentation as directed by store management.
• Verify signing on fixtures is correct.
• Ensure floor plans and moves are done safely and efficiently.
• Present new freight within 24 hours of receiving a shipment.
• Condense older merchandise to make room for new items.
• Coordinate with receiving to prioritize hot/fashionable items.
• Communicate selling and non-selling merchandise to store management and district leadership.
• Complete price changes on time as directed by the SSC.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
• Deter theft by reporting dishonest behavior to management.
