Job summary

Viking Masek is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to manage inbound shipments, verify contents, label and store materials, and maintain receiving records to support production.

You will enter data into the ERP, coordinate material flow, keep the receiving area organized, and collaborate with Procurement, Production, and vendors to resolve discrepancies while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; higher degree a plus.
• Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory management.
• Forklift certification required or to be obtained through Viking Masek.
• Familiarity with WMS and inventory tracking software.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance for shipping/receiving.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages as needed.
• Professional communication, appearance, and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments including UPS, freight, and large machinery with accuracy.
• Enter receiving data into the ERP system within established timelines.
• Coordinate material flow by labeling, staging, and delivery of materials.
• Keep the receiving area organized and materials identified per standards.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Planning, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Identify recurring issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production by ensuring timely availability of materials.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance in shipment, invoice, and inventory records.
