Job summary

Viking Masek Packaging Technologies is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to manage and verify incoming shipments, ensure proper labeling and storage, and maintain accurate records. You will help keep materials moving efficiently through the warehouse and production while supporting accuracy and continuous improvement.

The role requires warehouse experience, ERP data entry, and forklift certification, with collaboration across Procurement, Production, and Planning teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; logistics/supply chain degree is a plus.
• Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory management.
• Forklift certification required.
• Familiarity with WMS and inventory software.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations for shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments (UPS, freight, large machinery) and verify quantities, contents, and condition.
• Enter receiving data into ERP accurately and on time.
• Coordinate material flow by labeling, staging, and delivering received materials.
• Maintain organized receiving area per Warehouse Manager standards.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Planning, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and keep materials moving.
• Identify recurring issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production by ensuring timely material availability.
• Maintain accuracy in shipment, invoice, and inventory records following safety procedures.
