The Supply Room, a division of TSRC, Inc., seeks a Receiving Lead in Ashland, VA to guide daily receiving operations, oversee inbound/outbound freight, and ensure accurate inventory processing. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include directing the receiving team, processing shipments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining high standards for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills are required.
• Strong oral and written communication is essential.
• Ability to understand and follow direction.
• Ability to use basic warehouse tools and equipment.
• Prioritize duties to meet daily standards.
• Detail oriented approach to tasks.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily direction for the receiving team.
• Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound freight.
• Receive and process inbound shipments per company standards.
• Direct receipts for non-stock items to the correct recipient.
• Research and resolve discrepancies before paperwork submission.
• Stock inbound merchandise using manifests and FIFO for perishables.
• Process backorders and prepare orders for delivery.
• Handle outbound vendor returns per SOPs.
• Assist in processing astray inventory with supervisor.
• Move packages using carts, pallets, and conveyors.
• Ensure outbound orders are accurate by labels and paperwork.
• Inspect stock for wear/defects before release.
• Follow safety guidelines and operate equipment safely.
• Keep a safe, clean work environment and assist with general upkeep.
• Assist service teams with furniture assembly and moving equipment.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading merchandise as needed.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
