Job summary

DCL Logistics in Louisville, KY is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments, inspect goods for quality, and maintain inventory records. Lead with the warehouse, purchasing, and inventory teams in a fast-paced environment to meet SLAs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse or receiving, 2+ years in leadership, and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse or receiving roles.
• 2+ years of leadership in warehouse/logistics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC literacy.
• Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for Receiving questions and troubleshoot issues within the department.
• Assist supervisor with shift planning to ensure personnel coverage.
• Delegate workload to Receiving personnel to meet SLAs.
• Oversee all Receiving issues and communicate with Client Services.
• Assist in training incoming Receiving clerks and ensure standard procedures.
• Assist unloading, sorting, inspecting, and put-away of incoming shipments.
• Print pallet tags for put-away process.
• Enter inbound delivery receipts and alert parties of discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Create customer-specific CRTs in the system for billing purposes.
• Maintain Inbound Log, Receiving Hold, and Receiving Hot Board records.
• Adhere to 5S standards and ISO 9001/14001 compliance.
• Perform other job responsibilities as necessary.
