Job summary

Rural King seeks a Receiving Associate in Winchester, KY to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for storage and display, and maintain stock levels. You will follow SOPs for apparel receiving, ensure accurate merchandising, and support daily store operations with precise recordkeeping.

Responsibilities include processing orders, using scanners, monitoring shortages, organizing transfers, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment while collaborating with the receiving

Qualifications

1 year or more experience in receiving duties or an equivalent combo of experience and education.
Comfortable navigating computer systems and store software.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail in processing shipments.

Responsibilities

Load and unload shipments and prepare merchandise for storage or sale.
Follow SOPs for apparel receiving and accurate merchandising.
Process purchase orders and document receipts with scanners or software.
Monitor shortages and discrepancies and communicate them promptly.
Maintain records and manage store-to-store transfers and transfers to the sales floor.
Keep work area clean, safe, and organized while supporting team efforts.
