Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate in Lexington, KY to efficiently load/unload shipments, prepare merchandise, and maintain organized stock. You will ensure products are in stock, properly merchandised, and accessible to customers while following store SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include accurate PO processing, using scanners, daily recordkeeping, and coordinating with the receiving team to support rapid, reliable distribution across departments.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Proven track record of meeting quality standards and documenting records.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and sort for storage or display.
• Prepare merchandise for stocking and set up displays.
• Select accurate merchandise for shelving and maintain stock levels.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and apparel merchandising.
• Record keeping: file receiving paperwork daily.
• Assist in store-to-store transfers and logistics operations.
