Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load/unload shipments, prepare items for sale, and ensure merchandise is stocked and accurately documented. The role involves following SOPs, using scan guns, and supporting distribution center activities to maintain optimal stock levels.

You will work with the receiving team to coordinate store-to-store transfers and uphold safety and organizational standards across the sales floor and backroom areas.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for storage or sale.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and apparel merchandising; maintain stock levels.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts.
• Maintain accurate records; assist with transfers, shipping, and receiving.
• Support inventory management on the sales floor during high-demand periods.
• Collaborate with receiving team to ensure smooth operations.
• Organize product on distribution carts and transport to sales floors.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the work environment.
