Job summary

Rural King in Indiana is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. This role handles shipments, processes purchase orders, verifies inventory, sorts freight, and replenishes merchandise on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, freight, or related experience.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory control, or shipping and receiving preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, scan guns, and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to company SOPs.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to accurately document receipts and inventory.
• Identify and communicate purchase order, DC, and vendor discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and research negative on-hand inventory.
• Verify merchandise pricing, labels, and security tags as required.
