Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. This role receives shipments, processes purchase orders, verifies inventory, and replenishes merchandise on the sales floor.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of receiving or related experience, comfortable using scan guns and inventory systems, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, or related experience.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory control, or shipping/receiving preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, scan guns, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders per SOPs.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts and inventory.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies with PO, DC, and vendor.
• Maintain receiving records and research negative on-hand inventory.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags.
