Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in Memphis, TN is seeking a Receiving Clerk to verify and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments. The role includes receiving materials for production, ensuring accuracy, and preparing outbound DRP documents and carton labels.

Overtime and weekend scheduling may be required in a production environment. The position focuses on inventory control, clerical duties, and collaboration with supervisors to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control and customer service principles.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receives and inventories products shipped to the warehouse by common carriers.
• Maintains and files paperwork received from common carriers.
• Maintains office files including load sheets and all office logs.
• Communicates with supervisors and peers regarding inventory discrepancies.
• Pulls sample requests for Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development as a backup for the Receiving Clerk II.
