Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in North Carolina is seeking a Receiving Clerk to verify and maintain records on incoming shipments, inventory, and DRP outbound processes. The role includes receiving materials, ensuring accuracy, and creating carton labels for proper distribution to production locations.

The position requires English reading/writing, warehouse experience preferred, and a readiness to handle overtime. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with on-site duties in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems (word processing, spreadsheets, file management).
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Ability to speak, listen, use critical thinking skills and read to understand.

Responsibilities

• Receives and inventories products shipped to the warehouse by common carriers.
• Maintains and files paperwork received from common carriers.
• Maintains office files including load sheets and all office logs.
• Communicates discrepancies of inventory with supervisors and peers.
• Pulls sample requests for Purchasing, QA, and R&D as a back-up for Receiving Clerk II.
