Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee the receiving dock, inspect deliveries, and coordinate storage of supplies. You will enter data into inventory systems, ensure quality, and maintain efficient product flow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, equipment checks, safety compliance, and keeping work areas clean. Overtime and physical work are expected in a team setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly through shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep area safe and report hazards.
• Review work schedule, perform safety checks, obtain supplies and prepare for operations.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Open loading dock doors and prepare area to receive products from trailers.
• Inspect incoming trailers and verify items against the receiving schedule.
• Receive items, verify counts, record data, and ensure quality and labeling.
• Move items to staging areas, assist forklift operators, and store supplies as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and keep area clean; complete paperwork and inspections.
