Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring for a warehouse associate at our Jackson, MS facility. The role oversees the receiving dock, inspects and counts materials, coordinates storage, and maintains accurate records to support efficient product movement.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 6–12 months of warehouse experience, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds. Drug testing and safety compliance are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months warehouse/distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–80 pounds and work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Manage receiving area, inspect and count materials, and log data.
• Prepare area for operations and coordinate storage of supplies.
• Open loading dock doors and set up dock area for product receipt.
• Identify and store items, verify against schedules and bills of lading.
