Performance Food Group (New) is hiring for a Warehouse Worker responsible for shipping and receiving duties to keep the distribution process flowing smoothly. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include forklift operations, pallet management, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while adhering to safety policies and procedures. A high school diploma and 6+ months of experience are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, break down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean; reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs daily safety check of the assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
• Performs damage checks on received items and reports to supervisor as needed.
• Replaces batteries and completes vehicle inspection checklist.
• Reviews work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepares for operations.
• Wears all required PPE and safety gear.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Secures all equipment and completes paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
