Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee the receiving dock area, inspect and verify materials, and ensure proper storage and labeling. You will enter data into the inventory system and support the flow of products while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, counting and inspecting items, and coordinating with forklift operators. The role requires standing, lifting moderate weights, and working in multi-temperature environments,

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Aufgaben

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Open loading dock doors, set dock plate and prepare area to receive products from tractor-trailers.
• Receive incoming products and verify against the bill of lading; record counts and verify quality and labeling.
• Perform damage checks on items and take action per policy; inspect date-sensitive items and temp conditions.
• Identify, label and store supplies; enter purchase order data into inventory system.
• Coordinate/assist unloading and transporting items to staging areas with forklift/pallet jack; support forklift operators as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and end-of-shift equipment security; complete paperwork and inspections.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
