Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Sales and Rebate Support Specialist in Minneapolis to administer rebate programs, track documentation, reconcile payments, and provide sales support to ensure rebates are processed accurately and timely.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of office experience, with proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe. We offer comprehensive benefits within a growing electrical distributor network.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum two years of office experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, internet navigation, and Adobe.
• Two years post high school education or equivalent experience desirable.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Administer rebate programs, including program setup, documentation management, payment reconciliation, record validation, and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
• Manage rebate records and compliance documentation, maintaining organized files, audit support, internal controls, and current utility program requirements.
• Support sales and customer opportunities by providing rebate guidance, identifying applicable incentive programs, and ensuring incentives are accurately reflected in bids and supporting documentation.
• Maintain rebate processes and tracking systems to support follow-up activities, consistent documentation, and program effectiveness.
