Job summary

Brivo is seeking a Streaming Media Engineer in Austin to join our full-time engineering team. You will help bring real-time streaming to our cloud-based video security platform, building scalable services that process and deliver video at global scale.

You will work on agile teams, tackle challenging performance problems, and contribute to lightweight microservices, AI features, and user experiences across web and mobile.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years building cloud-based services in CI/CD using containers.
• Proficiency in C, C++ and Java for streaming systems.
• Experience with GPU codecs and multimedia standards.
• Knowledge of UDP/TCP/RTP/RTSP and streaming transport.
• Strong Agile, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer high performance multi-channel streaming solutions at global scale.
• Design, develop, optimize real-time Brivo video security services.
• Collaborate within Agile teams and iterate based on feedback.
