Job summary

Brivo is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to elevate the reliability of our world‑class cloud platform. You will bridge development and operations, owning automated infrastructure, incident response, and platform reliability at scale.

The role emphasizes hands‑on work, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and building resilient systems using IaC, monitoring, and CI/CD improvements. Austin‑based on site position with global impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an SRE or in infrastructure roles.
• Strong Linux systems experience in production environments.
• Kubernetes or other container orchestration knowledge.
• Proficient in Python or Bash; Golang a plus.
• Experience with incident response and SLOs.
• Familiarity with LLM-based automation for infra tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: build and maintain automated infrastructure across cloud environments using IaC.
• Incident Response: participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews to prevent recurrences.
• Automation: drive automation with Python/Bash to reduce toil.
• Observability: implement monitoring/alerting with Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics and Grafana.
• Collaboration: define meaningful SLIs/SLOs with cross-functional teams.
• Deployment Support: improve CI/CD tooling for production readiness.
