Job summary

Brivo in Austin, TX is hiring Software Engineers to join our Engineering organization across two high-impact teams: Video and Access. This entry-level role is built for graduates who are eager to learn and grow with mentors, while contributing to real customer-facing delivery from day one.

You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, attend standups, participate in code reviews, and ship features that enhance our cloud-based security platform for a global customer base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Python, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Comfort using Linux and running shell commands.
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system.
• Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build with cutting-edge AI by prototyping and iterating on security products, APIs, and MCP servers.
• Deploy at startup speed by collaborating in small agile teams to push code to production frequently.
• Scale impact by integrating Brivo and Eagle Eye platforms for bespoke and enterprise security solutions.
• Apply AI-native innovation and learn quickly; no prior industry experience required.
