Brivo, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for the Devices Cloud Platform in Austin.

You will design, build, and maintain backend services and platform components that power a global cloud video platform, taking ownership of critical systems for reliable communication, deployment, and operation across multi-region environments. The role blends Go development with cloud-native platform engineering, covering backend services, Kubernetes, networking, distributed systems, and production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Go expertise with concurrency and production HTTP services.
• Experience with distributed systems, networking, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in containerized CI/CD, observability, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and platform components.
• Improve reliability, observability, testing, automation, and quality.
• Troubleshoot platform, networking, and production reliability issues across cloud and edge.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor engineers on architecture and practices.
