Qualifications

  • Strong software engineering in computer graphics, rendering engines, simulation, visualization, game engines, or sensor simulation.
  • Advanced C++ and Python skills.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and Omniverse RTX.
  • Knowledge of GPU programming and rendering pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop real-time rendering pipelines for digital twin, machine, environment, and jobsite simulation applications.
  • Implement physically based rendering, ray tracing, materials, lighting, weather, and scene optimization using Unreal Engine and NVIDIA Omniverse RTX.
  • Develop and integrate camera, LiDAR, radar, depth, segmentation, and other sensor rendering capabilities for autonomy and perception workflows.
  • Build shaders and GPU-accelerated features using HLSL, GLSL, CUDA, Vulkan, DirectX, OpenGL, or similar.
  • Create reusable rendering services, plugins, APIs, tools, and asset processing workflows using C++ and Python.
  • Optimize CPU and GPU performance, memory usage, frame time, throughput, latency, and visual fidelity for interactive and headless workloads.
  • Support USD-based scene composition, asset validation, material conversion, level-of-detail strategies, and rendering interoperability.
  • Collaborate with perception, autonomy, simulation, digital twin, and platform engineers to integrate rendering into workflows.
  • Develop automated image and sensor-output validation, regression testing, and performance benchmarks.
