Hello Clever, a leading AI-powered fintech, is seeking a New York-based Payments Network Specialist to lead bank and partner implementations and oversee US payment flows. You will work closely with the New York team and Asia Pacific colleagues to translate requirements into reliable payment structures, resolve issues, and ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing operations.

• At least five years of direct, hands-on experience managing payments at a bank, payment provider, fintech, processor or network, including payment flows and partner implementation.
• Working knowledge of US bank and payment rails, including funding, settlement, reconciliation, returns and incident management.
• Experience implementing USD bank partners, funding and payout arrangements, with an ability to challenge incomplete designs.
• Strong ability to design and document procedures for distributed teams.
• Comfortable interacting with external partners and senior internal stakeholders, with clear written follow-through.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Network and Banking Partnerships managers from early discussions through go-live.
• Attend partner meetings as payments SME and assess payment flows, settlement, and reporting.
• Coordinate information and actions required by new suppliers with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Product and Engineering.
• Maintain an implementation plan with owners, decisions, risks and testing evidence.
• Map US payment flows from initiation to settlement and support resolution.
• Design US-specific procedures, SLAs, controls and escalation paths.
• Handle complex payment exceptions and incident management with root-cause analysis.
• Monitor partner performance and report findings to US and global stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales to assess merchant payment needs and translate into implementation requirements.
