RTX is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer for Secure Product Assurance in El Segundo, CA. You will join a team that develops real-time embedded software for radar, sensors, and fire control systems, focusing on secure software solutions and rigorous testing.

The role requires a Master’s in STEM and experience in C/C++, Python, and embedded development, with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Formación

• Master’s degree in STEM from accredited institution.
• Experience developing and testing software in C/C++ or similar OO language.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or similar.
• Real-time embedded software development experience.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a team-based development environment with good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Work on complex technical problems and collaborate to provide innovative solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
• Assist in deriving system and software requirements, architectural modeling, and technical analysis.
• Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software with a focus on secure implementations.
• Participate in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decision-making with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support program execution to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
