Spokane County IT / Sheriff department seeks an experienced IT professional to support sworn and non-sworn staff. The role covers camera systems, IP connectivity, cloud apps, and server management, with duties including troubleshooting and vendor coordination.

In-office work is required until training is complete, after which a hybrid schedule may be available at management discretion. Requires a BA/CS or equivalent plus five years' experience and a background check.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field plus five years of in-depth technical experience or equivalent.
• In lieu of degree, additional relevant training or experience will be considered.
• Successful completion of background check, including comprehensive criminal history check.

Aufgaben

• Develops, presents, and recommends projects and equipment or software proposals to staff and management groups.
• Provides analysis and design of new and existing software, hardware, AV needs, interviewing users to determine requirements and coordinating capacity.
• Installs and supports vendor-supplied applications/AV systems and coordinates maintenance and testing.
• Performs quality assurance to ensure accuracy of information.
• Maintains knowledge of video monitor console equipment and related procedures.
• Analyses outages and resolves technical problems to minimize recurrence.
• Sets up workstations with computers and peripherals and documents network/AV architecture.
