Spokane County Information Technology seeks an in-office IT Technician to support Windows PCs and mobile devices. You will assist with Audio Visual projects, manage device inventories, and handle hardware upgrades and repairs on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

The role requires Active Directory maintenance, software installations, and escalation duties. In-person collaboration and project involvement are essential, with a hybrid schedule not available.

Competenze

• Associate's degree in computer science or related field.
• Two years of IT experience in information technology.
• Equivalent combination of training, certification and/or experience may be considered.

Mansioni

• Aids in design and implementation support to Audio Visual Projects as requested.
• Manages supported devices, including inventory, billing, disposal of old or damaged hardware, and upgrade determinations.
• Provides Windows PC and laptop support, troubleshooting, repair and/or replacement as needed.
• Provides support for tablets, laptops, desktops, and mobile devices (Android and Apple) troubleshooting and repair.
• Sets up and deploys devices including tablets, laptops, desktops, and mobile devices with Android and Apple platforms.
• Maintains workstations with computers and peripheral devices and checks hardware for functionality.
• Performs Active Directory maintenance; managing devices and grouping them correctly.
• Installs and troubleshoots County and third-party applications.
• Acts as escalation point for Technical Support Specialist 1 and other IT staff.
• Evaluates new hardware/software and makes recommendations to IT Management.
• Develops and maintains procedures for hardware/software/OS installation and configuration.
• Attends in-person and virtual meetings to analyze and troubleshoot hardware/software problems.
• Refer complex issues to next level support or determine resolution path.
• Acts as technical point of contact for special projects and escalated hardware/software installation.
• Diagnoses complex computer system failures and resolves with software or hardware modifications.
• Performs other related duties as required.
