Job summary

Orb is hiring an experienced software engineer to help build the pricing, billing, and revenue platform. You will design core pricing lifecycle primitives, evolve data models, and scale real-time ingestion and query systems for large deployments while collaborating with product, design, sales, and customer success teams.

You will engage with customers directly to understand pain points, contribute to the product roadmap, and ensure the platform remains reliable and accurate at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Broad technical scope across stack with strong ownership.
• Excellent attention to detail in product design and UX and API surfaces.
• Willing to engage with customers to shape the product.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain pricing lifecycle primitives with extensibility.
• Evolve data model balancing complexity and clarity.
• Scale real-time ingestion and query systems for large deployments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PM, design, sales, and customer success.
