Job summary

Riverside County is seeking a Temporary Real Property Coordinator in the Facilities Management Department to support professional property agents with leasing, eminent domain, and acquisition activities. Qualifications

• Knowledge of leasing contract terms, formats and property management record-keeping.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical and legal material related to management, purchase or sale of real property.
• Experience: Three years of clerical experience, at least one in property lease/rent management, escrow services or monitoring contract compliance.
• Substitution: 18 semester or 27 quarter units from college in secretarial sciences, office practices, business education, or related field.
• Substitution: 360 hours of training from a recognized occupational program in secretarial sciences, business education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor leaser compliance with contract requirements and coordinate with landlord and tenants.
• Coordinate routing of lease requests and contracts through approval process; prepare amendments and renewals.
• Prepare documentation for eminent domain acquisitions and deliver to property owners.
• Open escrows for real property acquisitions/sales and coordinate documents with Real Property staff.
• Coordinate billings and reporting with departmental accounting and monitor aging of billings/payments.
