Job summary

Compass is seeking a Transaction Coordinator in the United States to manage compliance and administrative aspects of listings, transactions, and commissions. You will engage with Agents daily to keep deals moving smoothly, coordinating with lenders, attorneys, and title companies as needed.

The role emphasizes document tracking from listing to close, strict contract deadline management, and accurate record-keeping within Compass systems. A collaborative, client-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a real estate transaction-processing function, coordination, accounting, or payroll function preferred.
• Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent's contract data.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Customer service-oriented personality.
• Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• B.A. or B.S. degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements.
• Ensure real estate contracts are processed properly and promptly, with a focus on the details.
• Manage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are met.
• Navigate company systems to validate the accuracy of compliance and commission records.
• Provide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculations.
• Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents.
