Job summary

The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) seeks a Compliance Officer for the Iowa Title Guaranty (ITG) team. This role focuses on auditing, training, and strengthening compliance to support affordable homeownership and reduce risk.

The ideal candidate will analyze regulatory requirements, present clear guidance, and build strong relationships with participants and partners to ensure program integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college; three years’ investigative or compliance experience.
• Graduation from an accredited law school is acceptable as an alternative credential.
• A combination of seven years of education and/or full-time experience may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of ITG participants to verify adherence to program rules.
• Deliver training and technical assistance to attorneys, abstractors, and staff.
• Develop monitoring processes and communicate findings with corrective actions.
