Job summary

The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) is seeking a Compliance Officer to join the Iowa Title Guaranty (ITG) team. This role focuses on auditing, training, and strengthening compliance across participants to protect Iowa's real estate programs.

The ideal candidate excels in problem-solving, communication, and presenting guidance to attorneys, abstractors, and closer partners, while supporting program integrity and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements: a four-year degree with relevant investigative/quality assurance experience; a four-year degree with experience interpreting/enforcing laws or policies; a law degree; or seven years of education/experience combining coursework and work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of ITG participants to verify compliance with program requirements.
• Prepare audit reports, communicate findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver training and technical assistance to attorneys, abstractors, and ITG staff.
• Develop training materials, webinars, and educational resources.
