Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our client’s legal team in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing commercial real estate transactions, including overseeing all aspects of closing from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
• Prepare and review a wide range of real estate documents including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, closing checklists, and title and survey review summaries
• Coordinate due diligence efforts, including obtaining and reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and environmental reports
• Assist with drafting and filing corporate formation and governance documents related to real estate transactions
• Support attorneys in managing complex closings and post-closing matters
• Maintain organized files and databases related to real estate transactions
• Communicate with clients, title companies, surveyors, and other third parties

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate law
• Proficiency in SoftPro is preferred
• Strong knowledge of real estate documents, title/survey review, and closing procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
• Paralegal certification or degree preferred, but not required if experience is sufficient
