Responsibilities of the Real Estate Paralegal:

• Draft, review, and manage legal documents tied to residential and commercial real estate deals, including agreements, deeds, mortgages, and title-related documents.
• Conduct title searches and evaluate title reports to address any potential issues.
• Handle end-to-end coordination of real estate closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other involved parties to facilitate timely transactions.
• Maintain organized legal files and ensure all documentation meets legal standards and procedures.

Qualifications for the Real Estate Paralegal:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, preferably within a law firm.
• Strong grasp of Rhode Island real estate law, title review processes, and closing procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and real estate software (such as Qualia or comparable platforms).
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A paralegal certificate is preferred but not required.
